Publishing Your Android & iOS Apps

Your customer apps are branded builds of the Mahir RMS ordering app — published under your restaurant's name, with your icon, on your own store accounts. Owning the store accounts matters: your app listing, its reviews and its customers belong to you.

Store accounts you need

Google Play (Android) — a Play Console developer account. One-time US$25 registration fee. Registration is quick, but Google may take a day or two to verify a new account.

Apple App Store (iOS) — an Apple Developer membership, US$99 per year. For a business, enroll as an organisation — this requires a D-U-N-S number (free, but allow 1–2 weeks if your company doesn't have one). Apps published by an organisation show your company name as the seller.

Invite our publishing account to both consoles as an admin/developer; we handle the uploads, store listings and releases from there.

What you provide

  • The logo (same 1024×1024 file as the website).
  • A short app description in your own words, or we draft one for your approval.
  • Approval of the store listing (screenshots and artwork are generated from your branded app).

Timelines to expect

  • Android review: usually hours to a couple of days for a first release.
  • iOS review: typically one to three days; Apple is stricter, and a first submission occasionally needs one round of clarification — this is normal.
  • Plan for about two weeks from "accounts ready" to "both apps live", most of it waiting on store reviews.

Updates

App updates are published centrally: when the ordering app gains features, we build your branded version and release it to your stores. Customers update through the store as with any app, and the admin panel's minimum version settings can prompt outdated installs to update.
