Core Settings

Most MahirRMS settings can be left alone. These pages cover the ones that genuinely shape behaviour — the switches a new business should decide deliberately and an established one should revisit occasionally.

  • POS Settings — how selling behaves: registers, cash controls, day-close pacing, and which edits demand a signature.
  • Accounting Settings — how the books behave: costing method, approval chains, audit reporting, account mappings.
  • Feature Reference — every optional feature in one table: what it does, who it's for, how it's enabled.

A careless settings change can lock users out, alter how reports read, or change what your ledger records. Note the current value before changing anything here, and test sensitive changes with a non-administrator account.
